The 2000 Lady Reds golf team still holds the program's best finish of third in the NCAA National Tournament, which was held at the Texas Star Golf Course in Euless, Texas on May 16-19. They had three team championships  and three runner-up tournament finishes during the 1999-2000 season while also finishing no lower than fourth Place in 10 of the 11 total tournaments that season. Members of the 2000 Lady Reds women's golf team are Ashlea (Benson) Morgan, Lindsey (Brown) Pitt, Jenny Eckert, Shelley (Farmer) Hogue, Jennifer (Huff) Plagens, Jamie (Johnson) Cofer, Jessica Lovinggood, Sara Mobley, and Shay (Thompson) Neal which were head coached by Scott Varner and assisted by Matt Cochran.
