Wadley's transformational philanthropy at NSU began in 2002 when he established an endowment for NSU Athletics, honoring his late father, D.M. "Doc" Wadley, who was NSU's Athletics Director from 1949 to 1969. Major athletics projects that Gregg has contributed to as a lead or significant donor include the 22,500 square-foot indoor practice facility known as The Bubble in 2005, the state-of-the-art NSU Event Center that opened in 2013, and the 2018 Doc Wadley Stadium Sports Medicine Center and Football Locker Room Project.
