TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Elizabeth Cudjoe was named to the 2012 Daktronics Women's Soccer All-Central Region First Team Monday.
The sophomore midfielder and All-MIAA First Team selection was honored following a season where she led the Northeastern State women's soccer program with seven goals and nine assists for 23 points.
She led the MIAA in shots, was second in the league assists and third in points. She was also in the top 10 in both goals and game-winners.
The RiverHawks reached all new heights in 2012, posting a 13-5-1 mark with an appearance in the MIAA Championship semifinals. NSU also finished fourth in the regular-season conference standings with a 7-4-1 record, and the team hosted the opening round of the postseason tournament.
Cudjoe's name will now be placed on the Daktronics All-American ballot. The Daktronics region teams are nominated and selected by a vote of sports information directors in each region.
