ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Northeastern State women's tennis team picked up decisive victories over Ouachita Baptist and North Central Texas College Saturday at Heflin Tennis Center.
 
The RiverHawks (3-1) defeated the Lady Tigers 9-0 and then defeated the Lady Lions 8-1.
 
“Even though we had a tough loss last night to Drury, we came out focused today,” NSU coach Amanda Stone said. “This weekend I think we proved we can play with anyone. It's still early and our team will continue to improve as the season progresses.”
 
Five members of the squad posted perfect 4-0 marks.
 
Juniors Jeanne Mallem, Houda Bellamine and Martina Bruzikova joined sophomore Barbora Jirickova and freshman Kristina Savchenkov with unblemished records. Senior Ivana Belejova finished the day 3-1.
 
Northeastern State will next face Oral Roberts University at 2 p.m. Feb. 13 in Tulsa, Okla.
