Opening Statement…
"Tonight was an extremely competitive contest. Colorado Mines played very aggressive. We were unlucky a bit in our shooting. We hit several shots over the crossbar that should have been on frame at the very least. The keeper (Collin Hall) made at least one really good save on one of Adam's [Schmoker] shots. They were being very aggressive when we got inside the box, and we just weren't able to finish. The game got a little ugly there at the end, but we just needed to grind it out and we weren't able to do that tonight. I'm disappointed with the result, but I liked how we played. We outshot them, we outpressed them and we looked good overall. Their goal came from a set piece, it was a second chance shot off a set piece. So far we've played six games (including preseason) and that's the first goal we've given up. We created chances, but we just didn't finish them. We made great runs and for better or for worse those things didn't come to fruition. We've got a long way to go. When we add a few more pieces to it and get some guys healthy, then we'll be alright."

On playing teams that play aggressive…
"Well it's hard. They bring a feistiness to the game that can get you out of rhythm if you don't keep your composure. I think we play a very nice brand of soccer. We connect our passes and we usually play very well. It wasn't our night tonight. Colorado Mines is a good club that will beat a lot of teams this year."
