NORTHEASTERN STATE COACH AMANDA STONE"This was a great opening weekend for us. Both teams we faced were high quality opponents that were ranked last season. To be able to earn two 8-1 victories speaks well of our potential this year. I'm really proud of our new players in the lineup. They all played good competition and rose to the occasion. We could not have asked for a better start to the year, but we obviously know that it's only a start. We have a difficult early-season test next week against Drury, and we'll have to bring our A game if we want to beat them."
