LEMONT, Ill. -- The Northeastern State University Men's Golf team finished the Lewis Flyer Intercollegiate tied for fourth place with Bellevue University (Neb.) after shooting a two-day total of 615 (304-311).
Carlos Gomez finished tied for ninth to lead the RiverHawks after shooting a tournament score of 150 (77-73).
Casey Paul finished tied for 19th at 153 (76-77) while
Jax Johnson finished tied for 24th with a score of 155 (74-81).
Hunter Pennington finished tied for 57th at 161 (77-84) while
Ty Shelnutt finished at 168 (88-80).
There were ten Eagles on the course during the two-round invite with Johnson and Paul landing one for the RiverHawks.
Indian Hills Community College won the team championship, shooting a two-day total of 584 (283-301). Upper Iowa finished in second at 601 (296-305) while Parkland College finished third with a score of 605 (302-303).
