ROME, Ga. — The beat goes on for
Tatjana Stoll, and she will advance to the ITA Cup Semifinals after a three-set rally on Friday.
After leading 5-2 in the first set, Barry's (Fla.) Jill Engelmann would take the next five games to stun Stoll.
However, the NSU senior rallied back and evened the contest with a 7-5 set win. In the decisive third set, Stoll ran away with a 6-2 victory to advance.
Stoll will play in the National Semifinals on Saturday to face either West Flordia's Irene Recuenco or UIndy's Nikol Alekseeva. Saturday's winner will play for the National Championship in singles.
