ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- The RiverHawks Men's Golf team is in seventh place after two rounds at the Holiday Inn Express Classic. NSU shot 584 (297-287) on the day to finish 18 strokes behind Central Missouri.

Jax Johnson is sitting in ninth place in the medalist race after shooting a 142 (72-70). He is four strokes back of a three-way tie for first place. Carlos Gomez is tied for 18th after shooting a 145 (72-73). Casey Paul is sitting at 147 after shooting 77-70 on the day while Dustin Anderson is at 151 (76-75). Grant Hynes rounds out the RiverHawks contingent with a score of 153 (79-74). 

Central Missouri leads the team race after shooting 566 (277-289). They lead Winona State by two strokes and Washburn by four strokes. 

NSU will compete in the final round starting on Tuesday morning.
