TAHLEQUAH – The RiverHawks will put their three-match win streak on the line this weekend when they travel to Tulsa to take on the Southern Arkansas Muleriders Sunday morning.
Opening Serve
1. NSU brings their 3-1 record into the weekend. They are coming off a 5-2 win over Cameron on Feb. 15. They swept all three doubles matches and won four singles matches, including a 6-0, 6-3 win by
Kristela Vidnere and a 6-4, 6-1 win for
Chloe Certain. It was the third consecutive win over the Aggies.

Tatjana Stoll is ranked No. 3 in the nation, and has a perfect 4-0 record in singles play. Vidnere is 3-1 in singles play this season while Certain is 3-0.

Charity Andrews is entering her second season as NSU head coach. In her first season, she took the RiverHawks to the MIAA Tournament. Before coming to NSU, she had been the head coach of the men's and women's programs at Cowley Community College (Arkansas City, Kan.).
4. The Muleriders are 2-0 on the season, with wins over the University of Texas at Tyler and Arkansas Tech. They are currently ranked No. 2 in the Central Region rankings. Prior to facing the RiverHawks, they will face Seward County Community College and Southwest Baptist University, both of which will also be played in Tulsa.
5. In their most recent match against Arkansas Tech, The Muleriders swept singles play, including a 7-6 (4), 6-2 win by No. 39 Joanna Nowakowska. Angela Vargas picked up a win at No. 1 singles over No. 46 Michelle Khoo 7-5, 6-2. The Muleriders have yet to lose a singles match this season. Greg Owen is in his second season as head coach of Southern Arkansas.
Up Next: The RiverHawks will head south to San Angelo, Texas where they will face St. Edward's and UT-Permian Basin on Feb. 28 and Angelo State on Feb. 29.
