OWASSO – Northeastern State Alumni Bryce Newton advanced Tuesday in the OGA State Amateur Championship.

The 2019 graduate needed four extra holes in match play at The Patriot course to knock-off Oklahoma Baptist's Dakota Clark.  Newton will face-off against Wichita State's Jack Glenn (Stillwater) on Wednesday at 12:50 p.m. on hole ten.  The winner of the match will advance to the Round of 16 on Thursday.
