TAHLEQUAH – After dropping its first match of the season and not being able to get on the court due to weather Northeastern State tennis heads to Tulsa looking to rebound against Southeastern Oklahoma State. The match is scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. at Lafortune Tennis Park.Â
FIRST SERVE
1. NSU was swept at Drury on Feb. 21. NSU's No. 3 doubles pairing of Belina Jayaprakash and
Irene Romero took their set to the tiebreaker. In singles, Jayaprakash at No. 5 again battled forcing an extra game in each set.
2. The RiverHawks now have their full roster in Tahlequah after COVID-19 travel restrictions impacted the fall semester.
3. Southeastern is 2-0 to start the season with wins over Austin and UT-Dallas. The Savage Storm is led by Zulay Castaneda.

Kristela Vidnere and
Vera Carvalho each won their singles match in the Feb. 14, 2020 match against Southeastern.
5. Fans will be allowed but are asked to social distance at the outdoor courts.
