TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State remains on the road to play back-to-back matches with Cameron (9 a.m.) and Seward County CC (2 p.m.) in Lawton Saturday.

FIRST SERVE
- NSU is 2-4Â on the season and is coming off a tough start to the week in Tyler, Texas. NSU took just one point in matches with UT-Tyler and #1 Tyler JC.
- The RiverHawks singles lineup is not set yet as every player has played different courts. NSU is .500 on two courts, No. 4 and No. 5.
- In doubles, the pairing of Vera Carvalho and Irene Romero is 2-0. NSU has claimed the doubles in both of its victories this spring.
- The RiverHawks now have their full roster in Tahlequah after COVID-19 travel restrictions impacted the fall semester.
- Head coach Tim McLane is in his first season with the RiverHawks. He was hired Dec. 21 following stops at South Carolina Upstate and Mercer.
- Northeastern State has won the past three matches with Cameron. The series dates back to 1998 and the programs have met on the court the past three seasons. The Aggies are 7-2 to open the spring, they have beat three junior colleges, including Tyler JC, and fell to MIAA member #5 Central Oklahoma on March 16. Thus far this season, Cameron has won 75 percent of its 3-6 singles flights.
- The Saints are 5-5 this season and have beaten three NCAA DII programs.
