TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State will host its 23rd Men's Golf Classic Monday and Tuesday at the Muskogee Golf Club.
It will be the sixth straight season NSU will host a men's tournament on the course and it will be the 13th time in the 23-year history of the tournament.
Northeastern State will host 18 teams with six of them coming from the MIAA. The RiverHawks will bring
Carlos Gomez,
Brayden Strickland,
Dominic Stevens,
Brett Wilcoxen, and
Ryan Morant.
Gabe Replogle and
Bryson Terry will compete as individuals in the 54-hole tournament.
Teams will start at 8:30 a.m. Monday with a shotgun start and come back Tuesday for the final 18 holes.
Northeastern State has won its home tournament four times, the last being in 2004. Central Missouri who is in the field, has won the previous two Classics.
