DALLAS, Texas — Northeastern State suffered its first loss of the year Friday with Harding handing them a 5-2 setback.
The RiverHawks (3-1) would get wins in the middle of their singles lineup, with
Emilia Cosatto taking a 7-5, 6-4 match a 3s.
Alisha Moldakhmetova took 4s in three sets, 4-6, 7-6 (8), 10-7.
"Tough one today against a good Harding team," said head coach
Tim McLane. "We didn't necessarily have our best tennis out there today, but I thought we did a good job trying to problem solve and keep ourselves in the match. We've got some things to work on moving forward, so hopefully, we can put those into action tomorrow in another tough match."
Harding improved to 3-2 with the win over the RiverHawks.
Northeastern State returns to the court Saturday at 3 p.m., facing Dallas Baptist.
