SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Northeastern State finished the day where they started and will finish in seventh place at The Rattler Invitational on the par-72, 6,937 yard Dominion Country Club.
The RiverHawks shot a 35-over, 899 and couldn't make up any ground Tuesday shooting a 299, the highest among the top-nine finishers.
Brayden Strickland shot a 1-under on the day, moving up ten spots on the leaderboard scoring a 222 (73-78-71), good for a tie for 21st place.
Carlos Gomez was NSU's second-best finisher placing 30th overall with a 7-over, one shot behind Strickland.
Northeastern State was third with 163 pars, second to last with 28 birdies.
Kaden Armstrong landed NSU's third eagle of the tournament Tuesday on pin-1.
Gomez and
Brett Wilcoxen were tied for second overall with 37 pars.
Cameron won the tournament by one stroke with a 874; Midwestern State's Jake Doggett claimed medalist honors by six strokes with a 210.
