TAHLEQUAH – The RiverHawks open MIAA Friday with intrastate rivals Central Oklahoma for the 33rd meeting between the two programs.

Central is 6-1 on the year and holds the No. 4 ranking in the nation; their lone loss was to top-ranked Barry in the ITA Indoor National Championship.  Northeastern State has won ten of the last 12 meetings, with the Bronchos winning the previous two.  The RiverHawks have not visited Edmond since 2018, with the 2020 scheduled event being canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

First serve in Edmond is at 2 p.m.

On Saturday, the RiverHawks will host NAIA member Tabor for the first time.  The Blue Jays are 4-3 and have faced three MIAA programs.  Tabor was swept by Emporia State and Newman while edging Fort Hays State 4-3.   The RiverHawks' match time with Tabor is at 1 p.m.

The RiverHawks are 3-6 on the year and enter the weekend on a six-match skid.
