TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State closes out non-conference play with a visit to Durant Thursday to face Southeastern Oklahoma, and then they will head northward Sunday to meet Missouri Western.

In setbacks to Emporia State and Newman, the RiverHawks have battled injuries recently and played without its top two singles players in their lineup last weekend.

Southeastern Oklahoma is 11-5 overall and 6-3 at home this season.  Against the MIAA, the Savage Strom is 3-2, and last played on April 1 against Northwest Missouri, falling 4-3.  Thursday's meeting with the Savage Strom is the 27th, with NSU holding a 25-1 overall record.

Missouri Western will face Central Oklahoma Saturday before facing NSU.  The Griffons enter the weekend with a 12-2 overall mark and won their first three MIAA contests.   At home, they are 6-0 and have dominated NCAA foes 33-to-3 on the court.  Northeastern State is 14-2 all-time against the Griffs but has lost its last two meetings.

Northeastern State is 4-9 overall and 0-3 in MIAA play entering the week.
