Men's Golf finishes tied for 14th at NCAA Super Regional

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. – Northeastern State's season ended Saturday in men's golf as they finished tied for 14th place in the NCAA Super Regional, shooting a 910 (308-298-304) on the Purgatory Golf Club. 

The RiverHawks didn't make any movement on the leaderboard as they finished 15 back of the cutline to the NCAA National Championship. 

Brayden Strickland led NSU on the course and was tied for 21st place overall with a 223 (77-72-74).  He finished the even on the back nine and eagled on his final pin. 

Carlos Gomez was tied for 51st with a 228 (79-75-76) score through three days, and Brett Wilcoxen was one back of him, tied for 61st (74-78-77).

Christian Yanovitch had a 230 (78-75-77) and was tied for 64th.  Gabe Replogle shot a 238 (79-80-79), putting him in a 91st place tie. 

The RiverHawks NCAA postseason appearance is the first since 2019 and 18th overall.  The team does not graduate a starter from its lineup.
