TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State will face Arkansas Fort Smith for the first time since 2017 in continued non-conference play Wednesday.

The RiverHawks are 2-1 to start the season, last playing on Friday to No. 20 Angelo State.  Emilia Cosatto is ranked No. 22 nationally in singles holding a 13-2 mark going back to last fall. Leah Gonzales-Edwards has won four consecutive singles matches, and Valeria Teran has taken all three matches she has played this spring.

UA Fort Smith is 1-3 on the year and was swept Monday at Arkansas Tech.  The Lions were limited to five players and defaulted a doubles court and one singles court to the Golden Suns.

Scheduling Note: Friday's home tennis match with Dallas Baptist has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
