NORTHEASTERN STATE – A three-year letterwinner . . . has participated in 30 career games with 12 starts . . . has registered 83 career tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 13 pass breakups . . . also has three fumble recoveries, one interception and one forced fumble . . . personal best for most tackles in a single game is 10, which were all solo stops against West Texas A&M (Oct. 2, 2010) . . . lone career interception came as a redshirt freshman against East Central (Sept. 26, 2009) . . . took a redshirt as a true freshman . . . also sat out his initial senior campaign . . . is projected as one of NSU’s starting cornerbacks heading into the 2013 season.

Junior (2011) – Played in all 12 games and started each of the first eight . . . posted 32 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and seven pass breakups . . . also recovered a fumble and blocked a kick . . . had a season-high eight stops against Midwestern State . . . finished the 2011 Mineral Water Bowl with six tackles . . . recorded five stops against both Nebraska-Kearney and Harding . . . recovered a fumble against Bacone College . . . blocked a critical extra point in the final minutes against Harding to help preserve a narrow victory.
 
Sophomore (2010) – Competed in eight games and made his first three career starts . . . ended the campaign with 24 tackles, four pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble . . . made a season-best 10 tackles (all solo) against West Texas A&M . . . also had five stops against Southeastern Oklahoma State and four tackles against Tarleton State . . . forced a fumble against TSU . . . had fumble recoveries against SEOSU and WTAMU . . . earned starting assignments against SEOSU, Texas A&M-Commerce and Central Oklahoma . . . sat out contests against Southwestern Oklahoma State, Eastern New Mexico and Midwestern State.
 
Redshirt Freshman (2009) – Saw action in his first 10 collegiate games . . . recorded 27 tackles, one tackle for loss, one interception and two pass breakups . . . registered a season-best five tackles against both Southeastern Oklahoma State and West Texas A&M . . . also had four stops and one TFL against Midwestern State . . . posted his first-career interception against East Central . . . missed the game against Southwestern Oklahoma State.
 
Freshman (2008) – Redshirted.
 
High School – Watts collected 76 tackles, three interceptions, 11 pass deflections, forced one fumble and had four tackles for loss as a prep senior for the Farmers and head coach Steve Gaddis en route to being named a second team all-district and honor roll selection.
