NORTHEASTERN STATE – A two-year letterwinner . . . has played in 21 career games with 18 starts . . . owns 11 school records, including most passing yards in a single game (542) and season (2,520), most passes completed (162) and attempted (311) in a season, most passing yards per game in a season (229.0), most touchdown passes in a game (6) and season (26), highest total offense in a game (572) and season (2,749), highest total offense average for a season (249.9), and most touchdowns responsible for in a season (29) . . . all single-game records came against Harding (Oct. 15, 2011), and all single-season records came in 2011 . . . has completed 314-of-629 passes (50 percent) for 4,381 yards in his career . . . has thrown 36 career touchdown passes to just 25 interceptions . . . registered two 300-yard passing performances and 12 200-yard passing efforts in his career . . . has thrown at least three touchdowns in seven contests . . . also owns 105 carries for 344 rushing yards and five touchdowns.

Sophomore (2011) – Appeared in 11 games and started the final eight in his first year at NSU . . . completed 162-of-311 passes (52.1 percent) for 2,520 yards . . . threw 26 touchdowns to just 13 interceptions . . . averaged 229.1 passing yards per game . . . also had 67 carries for 229 yards and three TD’s . . . broke three single-game school records in a 49-41 win over Harding, including most touchdown passes (6), most passing yards (542) and total offense (572) . . . was 26-for-43 against the Bisons, which included 16 completions for 425 yards and six touchdowns to Trey McVay . . . threw for 366 yards and 4 TDs in a 35-7 win over Central Oklahoma . . . tossed at least three touchdowns in six games . . . recorded at least 200 yards passing in seven games . . . also added two rushing TDs against Southeastern Oklahoma State . . . finished top-40 nationally in both pass efficiency (139.4) and total offense (249.9 yards per game).
 
Oklahoma State University (2010) – Played in two games in his solo season at OSU . . . saw game action in the season opener against Washington State when he completed one of his two pass attempts for six yards . . . was a member of a Cowboy team that defeated Arizona 36-10 in the 2010 Valero Alamo Bowl and posted an overall 11-2 record.
 
High School – A SuperPrep All-America selection . . . rated by that publication as the ninth best quarterback prospect in America . . . despite a senior season that was interrupted by injury, he was ranked by Rivals as the nation's sixth best dual-threat quarterback . . . that service also listed him as the No. 5 player in the state of Oklahoma, regardless of position, prior to the 2009 season . . . a SuperPrep preseason All-America pick as the nation's ninth-rated quarterback prospect . . . a Tulsa World all-state and all-area selection as a junior . . . honorable mention all-stater as a junior by The Oklahoman . . . as a junior, he rushed for more than 1,600 yards and passed for over 1,800 yards . . . accounted for 22 touchdowns to lead the Sandites . . . still managed to pass for more than 500 yards and seven scores as a senior . . . Scout.com ranked him as the eighth-best senior in Oklahoma, despite his abbreviated season.
