HAYS, Kan. --
Gabe Replogle holds a one-stroke lead after two rounds of the Tigers Classic Monday with the RiverHawks in fourth place overall.
Northeastern State had to battle back from a forgettable front-nine in the opening round where they had five triple-bogies and shot a 300, which was good for sixth. The RiverHawks improved in the second round on the par-70 course and turned in a 294, the third-lowest team score of the afternoon.
Replogle's 142 (70-72) and
Ryan Morant's 147 (73-74) helped push NSU upward, with Morant leaving the course tied for eighth place.
Dominic Stevens carded a 150 (77-73) is tied for 22nd place,
Brett Wilcoxen turned in a 155 (80-75) and is tied for 42nd.
Carlos Gomez rounded out NSU's group with a 160 (84-76) and is tied for 65th place.
Replogle is one shot ahead of a golfer from Central Missouri and Rogers State.
Central Missouri leads the 15 team field by one stroke over Central Oklahoma and is six ahead of Rogers State.
The RiverHawks will tee off at 8:40 a.m. for their final round.
