What has been your favorite moment as a student-athlete at Northeastern State?
- Getting my first win my freshman year will always be a favorite moment of mine.
What has been your most meaningful experience outside of athletics?
- Getting involved in FCA has impacted my life in more ways than I can count. It's helped me grow in my relationship with God, and it has helped me grow mentally and emotionally.
Who was/is your favorite professor at Northeastern State, and why?
- I would say that Rebekah Doyle has been my favorite professor. I had her for over half of my minor classes, and I enjoyed every aspect of each class.
Do you have plans for post-graduation yet? If so, what are they?
- I have applied for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and I will be going through the hiring process for that over the next few months.
What advice would you give to younger athletes about their time at Northeastern State?
- First, I would say to find an upperclassman or two that are role models. That helped me a bunch in my freshman year. Next, I would say to understand that your coach has your best interests in mind, even if it doesn't seem like it at times. Lastly, I would say to get involved with groups and clubs on campus. They help build your friend group and they give you an active role around the school.
Is there anything you want to add?
- I just wanna give a huge thank you to Coach Hendrick for all the help he has given me throughout my four years here at NSU. Also, NSU has given me some of my favorite memories that I will hold on to for a lifetime. Go Hawks!
